beautiful mess*

how does one end a splendid weekend???

a date with 2 friends from my two different worlds…brought together by genuine luv for SOS brand of music! :-)

inside the dome, you’d know instantly to what specific age SOS caters. and i asked, do i belong to that generation? if age alone is the factor in the equation, then we don’t!

but i guess music like this transcends all ages. particularly corinne’s timbre & andy’s guitars.

we miss andy though last night! as much as we enjoyed the concert, not hearing “waiting game” and not seeing andy in flesh, just flawed the almost perfect night of good music!

the concert was faithful to its promise though to give us reason to swing ;-)

and corinne’s unusual warmness (for a brit) is a real upper. either she really knows how to put jazz in their acts or she just have an extremely cool & colourful personality!

she related how she finds pinoy jeepneys amusing and how it felt good to have sunny days instead of the nasty coldness of london’s winter. she even had a barong made for her and wore it on the latter part of the show.

yes, her vocals is extraordinary but more than anything else i think her humour is anything but dry! even without her singing, she’d make a good show out of her interesting & witty lines.

and im back to my question, do i belong to that generation? oh yess! definitely! if digging for SOS and an utter attachment for anything 80s are to be considered!:-)
