office’ coffee break

i don’t want to jinx anything or whatsoever, but so far sooo good :-) in the next months i’d be peeking to the other side of the fence before the eventual hopping of boats :p

i never wanted something soo badly. but lucky to those people who wait patiently ;-) waaaah! but frankly, i’m all sooo giddy already. waiting was never my cup of tea.

to my fellow dashers, heeeelp! i need to find a new place to dash. i am beginning to notice how my progress declines and it’s so bizarre to have a negative curve in my runs. and though i had a pleasant run last night, or so i believe it to be, the park (velazquez park or popularly known as salcedo park) inspite its recent improvements – renovated restrooms, paved jog path, conducive lamp posts, better landscape – becomes more appealing to various nationals especially the anchots (i coined this word :p). allow me to describe them in tagalog as i don’t wanna offend anyone. it’s not my purpose for this. the anchots e yung mga sobrang nakakasulasok talaga ang amoy. mga nakadamit mahaba ang babae at may bato sila nilalagay sa noo, ang mga lalake naman ay karaniwan balbas sarado at kahit malayo ka pa lang, para kang hihimatayin sa amoy. pramis, di ako maselan…pero naman nakakperwisyo talaga ang amoy. mas naramdaman ko pa sakit ng ulo ko kesa sa legs ko kagabi! kung tutuusin dapat sa mga kagaya nila na nakatira sa salcedo village (or anywhere in proximity) at nagtatrabaho o may negosyo sa makati, dapat alam na nila ang kultura ng pagligo at paggamit ng deodorant / antiperspirant. pro hindi eh, sing tindi rin nila ng amoy ang mga nakamotor na umiikot sa mga barabarangay at nagpapautang ng 5-6. walang pinagiba. mayaman o mahirap. bata o matanda. babae o lalake. edukado o hindi. for someone who’s worked with other nationals for the longest time already and who frequents most neighboring countries, and who claims to understand and to embrace diversity, it’s a shame up to now, this is one thing i fail ultimately. i mean holler?! shouldn’t be personal hygiene a universal exercise?? so what’s the connection of my whinings to my progress? nothing i just think it isn’t helping me in anyway to have anchots around. oh please, do you know a place here in makati where i could do my run?

tomorrow, N is coming down here in manila, and he has a box for me…yay! tomorrow i will have a new baby!:p excuse me, but i need a running mate.

went to ayala trinoma last sunday with my family. it was a total bummer! holler to my former colleagues in the whole subsidiary of ayala corp. i know it’s still on its soft opening stage, but come on. finishes are too awful to be rectified in the punch list stage. unleveled flooring, drop ceilings that are curved are retardedly curved, glass joints aren’t sealed thus rain water leaks, wall plasters are wobbling. how do you think you’d fine tune these stuff when it’s now too busy with mall-goers? you’d spend a fortune just rectifying those details. i must commend though its attempt to focus on landscape and water feature in its design. especially the seemingly hanging garden! oh wow! ok let’s see how it would improve for its grand opening sometime on december.

i was bloghopping when i came across this site. it’s cool. a genius is behind this beta launch! i immediately took the test, and look what i got (please see my lakbayan map on my sidebar). i’m a B pinas traveler. yay! cheers to more wow philippines destination for the chalahs! i’m dying to see batanes. as in! ;-) anyone?

and have i said my lss (last song syndrome) for the past weeks is

if you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. if you’re not into yoga, if you have half a brain, if you’d like making love at midnight in the dunes on the cape, then i’m the love that you’ve looked for. write to me and escape.

ok. ok. i’m singing it again. i hope it wont rain oustside later as i need to dash for the adidas kotr :-)

makati ka kasi eh…if you were in the que cee then you could run at the crame oval for all you want, and one good thing about it, no anchots around lest the base police picks them up…hehe

have you registered for the adidas kotr 10k? if not tell me so i can include you in my registration also…will pass by greenhills tomorrow to get the running numbers…

cheers! (tipping a cup of brewed coffee to you…) :D

not yet. i was told that i can get the form in any adidas store and submit it at san juan office before 29th. but your offer is so generous of you, how can i say no! :-) haha! what do you need so you can have me registered? :-)

hahaa, for a while i thought i heard jong talking when you spoke of trinoma, lumalabas ang pagka-eng hehe. this is the new mall in QC, right?

    saan malapit?

ps. ill reply to your email you soon, too swamped at work.

  4. 4 banggigay 20 June, 2007 at 9:43 pm

haha! lam mo na, galing galingan ever! hahah!

    yup it’s right across our used-to-be-fave-mall-during-highschool-bluemagic days! hint..hint :p

trinoma’s presence forced the complete overhaul of sm north, adding “the block” and to the extent of knocking off of carpark & annex to give way to more sophisticated looking walang kamatayang SM :-)

aba dapat lang pagandahin, i’ve read on most case studies, it’s always the highest revenue earner of all the sm malls, megamall can’t even come close. o di ba?! thus ayala wants piece of the cake too :-)

hmmm, so what is this boat-hopping thing you’re referring to, i wonder. a promotion maybe? ok, let’s not jinx it. :)

try to hook up with the happy feet runners. tbr is a member, and so am i, though an absentee one. they do training runs during the week and the weekend. maybe you can run with them or at the least, they can suggest a new place for you.

i’m so bad. i scored an “f” in the lakbayan test :( well, at least i’ve been to the 3 main islands.

so you’re still stuck with pina coladas… nice song though… velasquez, for a time i tried jogging there in the morning pero it’s a bit hard completing a round without stopping since dami babies and kids with their yayas… that’s the morning version of velasquez park… hehe… so I’m now back to my regular fitness first morning routine…
