seafoods + veggies only

for the past weeks.

since i had this patella injury.

and still counting.

not for anything,

but to just reduce

saturated fats stored

somewhere in my knee cap.

so it wont hurt anymore,

or reduce chances of hurting it again.

i super lurve lechon

and burger

and steak though.

so to me it’s a toil.

big time!

i miss my carnivore self.

and all the delight

red meat brings.

but these and all

in the name of running smoothly again.

i will miss breast friends run on sunday. i still feel i can’t, after h@ppyfeet’s tuesday night run. i only got to run 4k and my left knee started hurting again. gawd! when can i really come back? patience is a virtue, but i am yet to know if i even have it. boo!

no run. no swimming. no diving this weekend. so good book please…any recom?

Who told you it’s saturated fats underneath your knee cap? It’s muscle imbalance usually. Strengthen the surrounding muscles, use a knee strap while you are rehab-ing the knee. The strap is not a substitute for proper rehab. Rest, strengthen, run.

try reading “how israel got the bomb” fully booked php345
    or better yet
sleep, rest, and binge on chocolates…and yes, its not the meat that is impinging your knee so IMO you can splurge on your favorite lechon!

ay rick, it was explained to my by the doctor. not the cause though pro it would as he put it. pro, i’d take your word, rest. strengthen. run :-) there’s no other way to be back in action but to do it that way.

tutubi..exactly! pramis ang hirap! pinoys pa naman are all for red meat :-)

rex, sige i’d look for it. and let’s compare notes, yes? ano na, dive tayo tara!!! serious ako!

Ouch! Sorry to hear about this, before I had trouble running as well due to heel pain but that’s different. But I know it hampered a lot of my activities din.

I hope you get well soon. Cgurado mas se-sexy ka nan. :P

But fish is so delightful. I stayed off of eating red meat for years. In the end, I still don’t eat it that often. I have to have a real hunger for it! :)

ferdz, yeah…it’s frustrating enough not to have meat for weeks, all the more not to be able to run like i used been off for a month na, so will see how my virtual run would fare this thursday :-) siksik…not sexy! haha!

jon, welcome here! i’m getting used to it anyway. in time, i may be able to totally eliminate red meat. for now though i’m still having those cravings :-)

addettski, i am. i’m getting there :-) thanks!
