    so another convert, eh?

the d40x is such a nice cam at such low cost. i’m also shifting to nikon, hopefully, next year :)

but i’m looking at the d80…

problem with the d40x is that it doesn’t work with some lenses well. it’s limited to a set of lens mount but that’s just it

noooo, i can hear the wails of canon cams in the air! :D though, i must say the D40x really is tempting, lalo na the price is very reasonable. kaso loyal canon prosumer pa din eh, hehe.

Banggi! Nice! Do I sense a female “photographer on the run” in the making?

tutubi, contemplated on d80 & d40x too. body itself, 8grand difference is bearable. but plus the lenses, there where significant difference comes in. i thought i’d rather buy other lenses, for that amount. i’m a tightwad. swear! :-)

parky, gracias amiga! :-) when are we diving next?

ben, wooohoo! thanks for the input. i know you’re a canon loyalist too, but you’re much needed objective insights were indeed helpful.

abby, yeah! not only on the price, nikon’s cam kse fit well to my big hands. alam mo yun, swak na swak, kumbaga. one drawback i have with canon. besides, lenses wise, most would say N tops the list. so there, if i’d go for the N lenses, why not take the N cam? but of course i’m not over yet the idea of me being unfaithful, especially i’m so used to all buttons, features of canon.

tbr, i’m not worthy of the idea. ben is a master you know :-) i’m still the ordinary P&S kid, only with a DSLR in my hand. hahahah!

Congrats on having Nicholaus. It’s a very competitive entry level camera and I’m sure you’ll take a lot of pictures with it.

If I were to choose between Nikon and Canon. Nikon pipiliin ko. But of course, I’m a solid e-system user. hehe.
