dad, haaaappy!

i used to wish that i’d reach the day when i can finally beat him in tennis and tell him my baseline offense has crashed him. but he is a natural volleyer and his speed and agile has not faded a bit. i can’t outscore him. even my 2 siblings complain of his “bakaw moves” in basketball. sometimes i wonder where does he get all his strength? thus the three of us would always conspire to challenge him in chess and try beating him on the board. 3 vs 1. and we’d be ecstatic everytime we’d be able to snatch a win. hahahah!

but now i’m older and can say i’m more matured, i now wish you won’t lose that strength nor your speed. i’m afraid to see my all time hero lose his powers.

never mind if can’t brag him my groundstrokes, nor my brothers can’t brag him their offensive/defensive rebounds so long as you, our dad, stays healthy and strong.

make a wish dad

today, he is celebrating his 60th birthday! and my friends and colleagues were surprised to find out about it. they all thought he is 10 yrs younger. hooray! cos he looks so fit and so younger looking. but you know what’s his real secret?? he finds joy in serving faithfully his Father.

luv you dad! i’m soo proud of you! i will always take pride in saying “i’m a daddy’s girl!”

Woooah, I really can’t believe he’s 60 either. He could even pass for a man in his late 40’s. Happy Birthday Daddy! Stay strong and happy :)
